Hace 6 díasThis hotel is situated in an ideal location amidst historic buildings on a street which rises up to the Alcazaba.
It seems to have been constructed from a number of buildings joined together and is quite 'higgery piggery'!
Standards of decor are good, though it surprisingly felt to us a little lacking in character.
Interaction with reception was perfunctory rather than particularly friendly. The Housekeeping Team were very friendly. And, we got a smile from the receptionist on check-out - though she didn't ask whether everything was OK.
We had booked a Double Room and unfortunately were a little disappointed [#107]. While we didn't expect frills, we opened the door [quite late] to find two single beds pushed together each with its own bedware.
Various Booking.com descriptions did not appear accurate.
> 'All guest rooms at the hotel come with a seating area' - ours didn't
> 'It can have a balcony overlooking the Coso Viejo or a window overlooking the Alcazaba and has soundproofing and air conditioning' - many don't seem to have any view
> 'Bed: 1 large double bed' - we had singles
> Coffee machine, Tea/Coffee maker, Minibar, Wake up service/Alarm clock, Electric kettle - these seem to be only in the 'superior rooms'. Fair enough but most hotels have a kettle in all rooms
> We expected an outdoor seating area but there was only one old 'rocking chair. Not private, it led to another room
> We couldn't find any way to work the TV - reception changed the batteries in the remote control but this didn't fix it
> An occasional pong from the toilet - not uncommon in rural Spain.
Don't think we will stay here again though the beds were comfortable, the room was very clean, good shower ...

2 semanas atrásGreat location, on a quiet street. But close to the Main Street. The view from the rear terrace, of the fortress, is fantastic. Especially at night.|We came by train. Google suggested the walk to the hotel was flat. It isn’t. Most of it is quite steep. Best to get a taxi. Phone numbers are posted across from the station entrance.|Everywhere in the hotel is spotlessly clean. The interior looks new throughout. There is a pool.|The AC and the WiFi are excellent. Our room had a safe, but no fridge.|Comfortable sleep. We may not have had neighbours the first night. But we definitely did the second night. Internal soundproofing is very good.|Casa Lucia just up the street was great for lunch. The menu del dia was top quality.| Unassuming Bar Herradura, a distance from the hotel, is very good for breakfast of tostada and porros. The main door is on Calle Infante Don Fernando, Google maps has the back door.|We will definitely return to Hotel Infante. Next time, we will come to Antequera by bus.

3 semanas atrásLimpio, espacioso, cómodo y céntrico. Mi habitación tenía vistas a la calle con balcón (no terraza). Lasa terraza tiene muy buenas vistas.
